CPSU Launches the Positive Parents Promise

CPSU Launches the Positive Parents Promise

The NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) has launched the Positive Parents Promise as part of their annual awareness raising campaign- Parents in Sport Week.

The Promise outlines all the ways in which parents can be the best sports parents they can be by ensuring their child has safe and enjoyable experiences of sport.

From today, parents can make the Promise online and in return, they’ll get a certificate they can show off to the world and on social media to help promote positive parenting in sport.

Show your child you support them taking part in sport by making the promise at https://thecpsu.org.uk/parentspromise and spread the word using #PositiveParentsPromise

If you’re a sports club, talk to parents in your sport and encourage them to make the Promise today.

The NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) was set up in 2001 to help embed safeguarding best practice and policy across the sports sector.

The CPSU work with national governing bodies and active partnerships (previously county sports partnerships) to enable them to effectively protect the young people they work with from abuse and harm.
