Orangefield Back on Track - Sun 2nd May

21/04/2010
Following lengthy negotiations with Belfast City Council over the winter months, the Orangefield Track in Belfast will open for business on Sunday 2 May at 1pm. Everyone is invited to the opening session, and road bikes will be accommodated for newcomers. The session will run from 1pm-4pm, and will kick off the Summer programme that will run until September.

There will be the regular Tuesday evening training and accreditation sessions throughout May, with the Racing League getting underway in early June.

Ulster will once again be hosting a round of the national Inter-Provincial Youth series, and hope to have regular Ulster squad training sessions at the Belfast venue. Derny motor-paced training sessions are also planned when we take delivery of the new bike, hopefully before the end of May.

The coaches will again be looking at Youth riders over the Summer and selecting a team for the UK Inter-Regional Track championships scheduled to take place at Newport in September.
