Ulster Road Race Championship Entries Open

Ulster Road Race Championship takes place on Sunday 3rd July.
Draynes Farms dairy, based around the Lisburn area, are again kindly sponsoring the Ulster Championship Road Race this year which will take place around a circuit starting in Doagh on Sunday 3rd July.

It is an intermediate course, not as hard as Dundroad but not as easy as Nutts Corner.
There will be three races:
The senior race, which will include the junior championship, is open to all Cycling Ulster senior and junior riders. It will be four laps of the circuit, around 65 miles.
The veterans race is open to all Cycling Ulster veteran riders and will be three laps of the circuit, around 50 miles.
The woman’s race is open to all Cycling Ulster women riders and will be two laps, around 33 miles.
The pre-entry will close on Wed 29th June. If any of the races are oversubscribed riders will be selected firstly by CI race category then by race points as published on the CU website on Thu 30th June.
Sign-on will be in Need4Speed Indoor Karting on the Kilbride Rd, Doagh (next door to Chain Reaction, paste 54.745213, -6.047437 into google maps for a location). Sign-on will begin at 9:30 and close at 10:30 with the races starting from 11 o’clock at the location marked on the map, around 2 miles from the sign-on. Prize presentations will take place back at Need4Speed.
