Owen Jeffries (Foyle CC) won Friday evening's opening stage, but it was Enright who took a stranglehold on the race lead by winning the stage two time trial on Saturday morning. Enright defended his Yellow Jersey for the final two stages very well, finishing the race strong with a second place in Sunday's stage that took in the climb of Glengesh.
Dave Walsh (Wexford Wheelers) came out on top in the third stage while Killorglin's Conor O'Shea won the final stage. Sligo's Desi Foley (Newry Wheelers) won the King of the Mountain's Classification. Cycling Ulster - Slane Cycles team had a strong showing in the event by winning the team prize, individually Peter Lilley also place 2nd in the U23 Classification. 2009 All Ireland Women's Road Race Champion, Heather Wilson of the Cycling Ulster - David McCall Foundation team was the leading Woman.
