David McCall Ulster Youth League

The Cycling Ulster Youth Commission have announced details of the 2010 David McCall Ulster Youth League today.
 
The six event series will begin this weekend at the North Down Grand Prix. As well as being the opening round, it will also incorporate the Northern Ireland Road Race Championship. Four road races and two criteriums have been included in the series.

Cycling Ulster Youth Commission Chairman, Mickey McKenna said, "We are very grateful to the David McCall Foundation who have once again come on board to support Youth cycling in the province by lending their support to the series." Different points will be awarded to the top six in each race (12, 10, 8, 6, 5, & 4), with everyone else who finishes receiving 3 points, and 2 points being awarded for starting each event.

Sun 23rd May – Emyvale GP (Tydavnet, Emyvale)
Sun 30th May – Newry Youth Races (Newry)
Mon 7th June – Waterfront Crit (Carrickfergus)
Sun 13th June – Noel Teggart Memorial (Banbridge)
Wed 23rd June – Crit in the Park (Ormeau Park, Belfast)
