Cyclo-cross Training Day

The Cycling Ulster Off-road commission have organised a Cyclo-cross training day on Saturday 17 September 2011 at the Cush Pavillon in Lurgan Park.
 
Start time 10 am with the aim of finishing at 2 pm. Refreshments supplied.

The training day will be hosted by CX legend Fred MacSorley with the practical work being conducted by another CX legend Roger Aiken. Thanks also go to Allister MacSorley for providing the presentation.


 


There will be a mix of classroom style talks on training, nutrition etc before the practical work outside focusing on the skills needed for cyclo-cross racing.

The training is aimed at those aged 16 or over who will be taking part in cyclo-cross races this year and the cost will be £5 per person.

Even seasoned riders will learn something!

All riders must have a current Cycling Ireland licence.

Those wishing to attend are asked to let the organisers know for catering purposes.
