Aiken Does CX Double in Ormeau Park

Banbridge CC's Roger Aiken won the Ulster Senior Men's Cyclo-cross Championship on Sunday and also sealed overall victory in the Ulster CX league.

 
Second place went to teenager and winner of the junior category, Matthew Adair who is continuing his preparations for an assault on the Belgian cross scene over the Christmas and New Year period which he hopes will result in selection for the Irish team for the World Championships. The final place on the podium went to Newry Wheelers' Conor Campbell with Jack Wilson (UCS Crabbe) taking fourth spot and silver in the junior competition.

Ciara MacManus (Summit MTB) won the women's, Johnny Bogues the veterans while Newry Wheelers took the team title.
