Eskra Cycle Challenge

16/06/2011
Taking place during the Eskra festival, the Eskra Cycle Challenge will take place on Saturday 25th June.

Sign-on location is at the Eskra Community Centre, Eskra, Co. Tyrone. The event will incorporate 3 distances to cater for different abilities: 10miles for beginners and families, 35miles for fitter cyclists, and then a challenging 70mile route for the adventurous. The 70mile challenge takes cyclists through the beautiful scenery of Tyrone, and Fermanagh before crossing the Cooneen mountains into Co. Monaghan - approx half the route will feature hilly terrain, so ideal for the cyclists looking to test their stamina and fitness.

On Saturday morning, the famous 'Big Breakfast' takes place from 8am to lunch-time, so why not arrive early and get fueled up before setting off on the bike. There will also be showers and food available afterwards for all cyclists. Thanks to local shops, there will also be prizes on offer for everyone who signs on for any event.
