Description 'THE COAST RUN SERIES' NORTH KERRY / WEST LIMERICK, LEISURE / SPORTIVE, SAT. 9th JULY, Starting in Abbeyfeale, 145km Sportive, 85km / 40km Leisure, Sign on from 8am, Start at 9am Sharp!!

After last weekends successful 'Inaugral Clare Coast Run' the series now moves to North Kerry / West Limerick, again the route hugs, the Shannon Estuary.

'The Coast Run, 145km Sportive, 85km / 40km Leisure, and 10km Family / Kids Fun Cycle, Signing on from 8.00am at Fr. Casey's GAA Complex, Abbeyfeale, FREE Family / Kids 10km Fun Cycle, starts at 8.30am, Leisure and Sportive 9am Sharp!!

Recognised as one of the best cycling routes in North Kerry / West Limerick, 'The Coast Run' hugs the scenic Shannon Estuary, the route is definitely challenging, with a few testing climbs, cyclists comments from previous years include, 'Absolutely Brilliant', 'The Testers out of Glin and Athea were the icing on the cake', 'Not To be Missed'.

Starting in Abbeyfeale, Leisure cyclists will head for Duagh, Listowel, with a food stop in Asdee, then Tarbert, Glin, Athea, Abbeyfeale.

Sportive route, Abbeyfeale, Tralee via the mountain road, Ballyheigue, Ballyduff, Ballybunion, linking up with the leisure route, Food stop Asdee, Tarbert, Testing climbs out of Glin and Athea, finishing up in Abbeyfeale. Plans are underway to throw in a few surprises for cyclists, details will be posted on the web site.

In addition there is a Free 10km Family / Kids Fun Cycle, route, locally known as The Doctor's.

Cyclists are encouraged to register online immediately, saving €5, otherwise registering on the day incurs this additional fee.

The on-line entry fee for the Leisure and Sportive €10 Cycling Ireland Members, Non-Cycling Ireland Members €15.
