Under 16s competing with A4s
"When grading by ability was introduced at the start of the 2010 season U16 riders were allowed ride against A4 seniors, on review the Board decided to restrict this practice and currently U16s may not compete in A4 events.
The Youth Commission have been requested to draw up a list of A4 events which could form the basis of a series of preparation events with the intention of giving the National Youth Squad a higher level of preparation. The Board still await the list of proposed events for consideration by the HP unit of Cycling Ireland."
