It's still only July but people are already discussing the upcoming cyclocross season. We'd like to let you know about scheduled and tentative events.

Cyclocross events in Northern Ireland are already included on the calendar - we're still awaiting full details from clubs in the south but there are plans for some one-off races as well as a Dublin-based league. If your club is planning an event this year please let us know the details and prospective date.

The date for the National Championships has been set - January 9th 2011. The Offroad Commission has not yet received an application to run the champs so interested clubs should contact us without delay.

Finally, we are aware that there is a lack of cyclocross experience on the Offroad Commission. We are therefore interested in hearing from anyone interested in joining the commission and taking on this role. Tasks would include cyclocross promotion, maintaining the season calendar, liaising with High Performance etc.
