Mountain Biking in Ireland
Ireland has always produced strong cross country mountain bikers. In recent years we have been particularly strong at masters level, and downhilling has also been hugely successful. BMX is the latest development in the off-road scene, with several new clubs and a trail in Ballinrobe. Cyclo Cross is a popular option for riders in the winter also, with events spanning the colder months.
